My son Team GB archer Patrick Huston bought this book in 2015. Since reading it and embracing the techniques he has won numerous titles, set a World Record and become the only male archer on Team GB to qualify for the Rio 2016 Olympics. And all at age 20.I bought the book in 2016 to know more about the programme he is working to and am very impressed. The book is clearly written and not especially long. I find reading one chapter per day allows the messages time to sink in.

A winning read.

I've read a few sports psychology books, mostly written by professors and psychology experts, all quite similar. With winning in mind, is by far the best. Written by olympic champion Lanny Bassham, a man thats been there and got the t-shirt. Lanny gives you a plan thats easy to relate to and should you choose to follow, will without doubt improve your performance. This book applies to all sports. Read it, read it again, make notes, tweek parts to make the mental plan individual to you and you're on to a guaranteed winner!
